The EMERGE research network encompasses more than
20 sites across 6 continents, covering all WHO regions.
This allows unique research project with a global impact.
The goals of the network include:
- Generating evidence and translating knowledge to improve emergency care for patients and populations
- Building and strengthening research capacity
- Educating the emergency care workforce
The coordinating team of the network is based at the University of Michigan. The department as the national centre within the network is represented by the research group Clinical Pathways & Health Services Research.
